Create Your 2020 Vision and Make It Plain!

Create Your 2020 Vision and Make it Plain!

Vision is something that you have and what is needed to see. It is also something that needs to be made clear. If you don’t have one, create one!

When you have a vision for your life, things are made clearer. What is important will come into focus and the visual noise (the things unnecessary for you to obtain your goals or distractions) will fall out of focus.

Writing down your vision is important it keeps your focus in plain sight and gives you something to be accountable for.

Every New Year many get inspired to start afresh and to create new goals and desires to conquer old ones that have not yet come to pass with a new perspective and to implement a new strategy in accomplishing what one desires to set out to do. Datebooks are kept, schedules are set and planners are made. Some are short-term goals (minute, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly). Some are long term goals (monthly to several months or years- relative to the goals in mind). Either way, necessary steps are taken so that deadlines are met.

Whatever the assignment or task or things you desire to acquire or accomplish; there is an element of faith activated when you write it down. Habakkuk 2:2-3(NLT): Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. The vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.

In other words, when you write it, down it becomes a goal document that speaks itself into becoming fulfilled. For this cause, many have taken their goals and created a collage of words, pictures or images from magazines, newspaper clippings and other materials of what they would like manifested in their life. What you see is what you’re able to readily meditate on and record in your subconscious mind. It becomes a visual meditation if you will that you can envision becoming a reality!

This has made creating vision boards very popular! More than over the past few decades and recent years many have become quite creative with it; from placing your collage of images and words into a box frame, to poster boards or scrapbooks. People even have started vision board parties and functions to help others get their ideas in motion for their personal lives and their business(es) and or extending to their team that they are working with. However, you choose to do it, write your vision or create your vision and make it plain.

For what you want to accomplish, you must carefully plan the necessary steps towards your goal and it shall speak in the end. All goals or visions boards created should be realistic, but challenging enough. Don’t give up! There will be obstacles in life, but don’t let that deter you. Writing down your vision or looking at or reviewing your vision board is a great reminder to have a single focus of obtaining all that you set out to do for meeting your goal(s).

You must be patient and not give up. The race is not to the swift or the strong, but to the one who endures to the end. Ecclesiastes 9:11(NLT) says it best, I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.

Part of being in the right place is to have your goals that are written down and your vision before you. It’s still good to have a goal timeline, but keep in mind life happens so take life’s interruptions into account and be flexible when necessary and make your adjustments and stay the course. It’s not all bad. Remember some things will happen like blessings and having a vision in mind will position you to be prepared to receive or handle more.

For this year 2020 is a great year to keep your focus clear and minimize distractions. Always be thankful, be prayerful over what you seek with action and with the right motive. May God bless your desires to be fulfilled! So write that book. Start that business. Is going back to school calling your name? Rally your encouraging entourage and tune out your naysayers because your 2020 vision goal must meet its destination! Make that vision clear, bold, beautiful, powerful and with impact. Can you see clearly now? May your vision be sharp and your blessings rain abundantly! Don’t’ give up! The pressure is good. In the end, it produces diamonds giving birth to your dreams.

For me I’m prayerful seek that Lord’s council, step out on faith with action; letting patience have its perfect work.
