6 Easy Tips For Night Time Routine

If you are anything like me, then you usually have a hard time with going to bed at a decent time. I am such a night owl and most times all of the things I need to do for the next day come to my mind as soon as I am in bed. Well, I’m going to give you some tips to follow for a better night time routine.

6 Easy Tips For Night Time Routine 

 

1. PREP FOR THE NEXT DAY

It’s best to have your clothes picked out the night before, so you don’t have to spend too much time thinking about what to wear. Also, pack your lunch, so that’s one less thing you have to worry about doing.

2. TIDY UP YOUR SPACE

Clean up your room and remove things that don’t belong. Also, fresh sheets make me excited to head to bed and also to have a clean area to sleep in because my room tends to clutter up throughout the week.

3. WASH THE DAY OFF YOUR FACE

Make sure you have a good skin care routine before bed. Please don’t ever go to sleep with makeup on. Sleep with makeup can clog your pores and cause other skin issues. It’s a refreshing feeling letting your skin breathe

4. SHOWER/BATH

Taking a hot shower or bath is a great way to get your body to relax and put your muscles at ease. I love using lavender scented body wash and body oil because helps me wind down.

5. TURN OFF ELECTRONICS

If I keep my phone next to my bed, i’ll never go to sleep. I will scroll my Instagram and Twitter for hours and not even realize how much time has passed. Turn off your phone or just place your phone on do not disturb and plug it up across the room.

6. PRAY/ MEDITATE
The best thing to do before bed is to reflect on your blessings and all the things that God is doing in your life. Praying before bed is one way to help me sleep peacefully and just showing gratitude towards God for allowing me to make it through the day.
